My parents 55th wedding anniversary today, last 12months has been tuff for them health wise but they are still going reasonably well. On to the next mile stone.
Congratulations to them both, great achievement, we only 4 years behind them.
I stumbled across the 'safe place' that I had securely stored the rear wheel bearing circlips so they would not get lost... all those months ago.
Welcome Ava and a big congratulations Rick! She is beautiful!
No sailing this weekend so we took a drive to West Head and viewed The Pittwater from a different angle.
International Whiskey Day was yesterday.
We celebrated then and carrying over to tonight with a bottle of Lark and the fire pit ablaze.
Sydney in Autumn is brilliant
Life is too short to drink mediocre whiskey
Found a Cordless drill/driver when I was clearing out under the stairs.....was state of the art waaaay back.18V , variable clutch and two speed......replaced it as the batteries were more expensive than a new combo./set....but never threw it out.
I HATE throwing stuff out !.....much to Sue’s chagrin ......
Why did this make me happy ?......the batteries for its replacement fit ! They are identical, except that the old batts. are NiCad. and the new, LiOn. Happy that I now have two units set up......sooooo handy.
Gotta get me some of that......fire pit, whisky, and company.....what else could a fella desire? ( that won’t get you in trouble .....)
A wife that likes the same.
I’m lucky (really??) in that Lea can put the Lark away quicker than me.
And she likes the fire pit.
Just gotta talk her into chopping the wood for the pit and buying the whiskey
