    Surprised no one got killed.

Loss of power. Best part of a week. Otherwise no damage.

Surfing in uncrowned waves, on an empty beach in beautiful sunshine and warm water.
There are some benefits to living coastal in lockdown.:D

There are also some benefits to defined lockdown laws actually being understood, & enforced. ;)

Absolutely and the 10k limit on travel for exercise has really made a huge difference in my neck of the woods.
With over a dozen quality breaks within 5k from home, I’m happy in lockdown.
    Cheers,
    Mark

7 bars of gold arrived from Egypt, which only taken 9 days to arrive. N.O.S right hand drive worm drive for the early bay window steering box in original boxes, these things are like gold as you can buy nearly every component of the steering box new except you can't get the the RHD worm drive. Hopefully these will make the box as tight as possible to a new box would of been.

Just spoke to my good friend in Bathurst, that has (long term) borrowed my trailer, and it was him, that gave me the box of lowlight bits from his late fathers garage.

He remembers the Kombi well, as he grew up with it, and many happy memories of Kombi trips with the family, in the converted to camper 69 lowlight. I explained what I did with that box of bits, currently in the “Swap” forum, and he was thrilled with the destination of the parts.

Made him happy, which has made me happy too! :)

I had the pleasure of catching up with JD who sailed into Burnett Heads and then onto Bundaberg a week ago. I surprised my ladies coffee morning group by inviting him along and he was a real hit. The rest of the day he and I toured the sights of Bundy having lunch and concluding the day with the tour of the Rum factory. I had the pleasure of being invited onboard his Catamaran on Monday along with a couple of my girlfriends where John entertained us and made a fabulous lunch.
He sailed out to Seventeen Seventy Tuesday morning but promised to be back later in the year and to host out coffee morning onboard......the ladies can't wait.
