Over here a few people were fined for removing stuff {namely bottles and cans } from bins on garbage collection day by the local council.
Another time some people got done for taking discarded stuff :ie: furniture, chairs ,and some electric goods that had been placed out the front of homes waiting to be dumped, it appears that anything on the footpath or surrounding areas belongs to the council. Would have thought its better to be reused rather than shoved into land fill.
    But thats beauroccasy for you,o_O

Let's also not forget the poor grammar used and they are reading it - eg. Cheryl and George was arrested ..... were arrested - this was from someone not new to news reporting

The best one was on the ABC. "One thousand and eighty bates have been placed as you can see on this sign".

Everytime I see a sign for 1080 I start laughing now.

    WPMO?
That shineybums in business and govt don't get death penalty for being scumbags.

Latest Townsville floods were made much worse by dam releases during the disaster.
    Same for last Brisbane floods.

Now seq water are going to repeat their actions if expected cyclone hits Brisbane as a low.
Currently wivenhoe dam is at 90% before triggering point for releases.
A normal tropical low will mean they will have to dump for days.
Right when Brisbane river is already flooding.
Full moon will mean extra high tides as well blocking river flow.

    Time for a cull.

That would be a government decision made by university qualified managers wouldn't it?

SEQ water. A quasi govt/ autonomous semi privatisation bastard deformed child formed to fix a shortage of water in bris by building long pipelines to outlying councils to steal water from their well planned dams.
    With no compensation.
Initially run by a hugely overpaid unskilled fat shelia who famously tried to hide behind a foyer column while sending a mignon to face cameras on a major stufup.

Controls wivenhoe dam which was built after '74 floods with purpos3 of mitigating further floods.
Now more money in selling water than saving homes so exceed retained margins.
Dumped huge amounts during flood thus making it worse but claimed they followed guidelines.

Guidelines prob the work of a 20yo student of humanities or the cleaners boyfriend.

What is certain is the aforementioned fat shelia wouldn't have had a boyfriend.
And husband probably only has one arm. :)

Trad's got to get money somehow so more Public Servants can be added to the toll of labour created jobs where they achieve nothing productive.

We've just been at Jacob's Creek winery. The restaurant won't serve us outside because it's too hot. Just over 30°. Wtf! As if it wasnt 40+ yesterday and the day before!

So we're now at Barossa Valley Brewing and Brasserie! Yay

Mostly the customers were non Aussie's or wannabe wine experts. Never been a fan of their vinegar.
Miss the days of fighting to take the last load of the day to the weighbridge and having a port with Peter Lehmann.
