Thank you Brendon.
Our thoughts are with your family & our wishes with Tallulah for a full recovery. And I agree with wombatventures!
Oh $hit Chrissie...........
Hope things turn out for you all....thinking of you, Paul and the kids.
Mark n Sue
What an absolute disaster!
Really hoping for a full recovery Chrissy........
Oh Chrissy! I really hope Tallulah makes a full recovery xxx
I would really like to like your post but that would be totally wrong.
What a shame
What a heart break !!
Hope Tallulah makes it
I hope Tallulah makes a full recovery, my thought are with you and family. Some people shouldn't have licences and that's why Kelloggs doesn't hand them out.
Truly appreciate your concern, thank you all.
Was dreading the phone call this afternoon. Had a very grey day thinking that after almost 15 years with my blonde bestie could end in such an unfair departure.
The Ute, with a tray full of wood was on top of Tallulah and had to reverse off. Rushed to the vet, his main concern was that her hips or pelvis could be broken which would have been devastating. We were also worried that the shock could have killed her at her age.
We waited all day to hear what the scans had shown. The vet says she has dodged a bullet. Perhaps a few broken bones in her foot or leg but was able to come home, where she of course has been treated like royalty (more than usual). Living up to her usual queen status, she had apparently shared afternoon tea with the vet who has always seemed fond of Lu.
She is having a hard time getting up and moving but I cannot believe this old girl is so tough.
She will be closely monitored and pampered over the weekend and we’re praying she recovers okay after the ordeal.
Thank #### for that.
Hope all progresses well.
Second a bit of crowbar therapy for driver.
What great news Ninja. One special weekend coming up for all.
Good to hear Ninja,You know what to do when she comes home spoil her rotten if she already isn't
Thoughts with you Chrissy, family and Tallulah
You can't put brains in statutes
So glad to hear the positive update....
A Lady with so many good years should not be taken from you in those circumstances. Here’s to a graceful retirement!
Hi Chrissy ,
Fingers xd for your pet .
You ,Paul And littlies must be devastated ,hope it all works out ok for you all,
Happy to hear that Tallulah is not to banged up. Hope her recovery is quick and full. I'm standing with my 2 girls staring at me at the moment, the kelpie's offering to come over and sort out the driver for you.
Thank you all so much for caring.
Your comments really cheered our little family up when things looked grim and the sun is shining again today. On an ordinary day Lu receives plenty of cuddles from Gracie and Joseph but there’s been some smothering since her return home.
This dog is extraordinary. Paul was on shift last night so I had some heavy lifting to help her outside when nature called but this morning she limped out to do the rounds as I followed. I envy her resilience.
Hahaha! I like the way you think.
You would hope there’s been a lesson learnt. Dread to think how fast he goes through a school zone or even through a herd of cattle.
Excellent stuff Chrissy!
I trust you’ve at least passed on the vet bills & costs to the idiot for payment to reinforce the lesson learnt?
Those of us that have loved and lost, would be standing alongside your two girls..... I wish no ill on anyone, however that fella has something headed his way...... I sincerely hope he is doing the right thing by 'lu..... If not, he deserves everything he gets........ Cheers, Mark
Great to hear the fur baby is home ..... amazing how stoic they are.
We watch the Supervet on SBS (channel 3) and it's amazing what Professor Noel Fitzpatrick does but he is always amazed at how resilient the animals are he operates on and those that are sent home with some medication ..... he gets quite pi$$ed when his instructions are NOT followed to the letter
