So I finally bought my 76 Kombi this weekend and decided to take the engine out as the previous owner had already started removal. To my horror I found that there were no nuts or bolts holding the engine to the gearbox.

It’s going to be a while before it’s built but out if interest does anyone know what is the correct size of nuts and bolts that SHOULD hold the engine to the gearbox. It’s a manual box with a 2 litre type 4 engine.

    They look like M10?

    Thanks

    Stu

The starter motor one may be a special as it is on a 1600.
