Can’t contribute to this one. o_O

Only bought 3 Kombis - one new, and two used, and two of them are still here. ;)

The new one, and one of the used ones, still remain in my possession.

I found it doesn't pay to look backwards, sold my original lowlight DOKA that I had for 23 years to a numb nuts buyer that turned it into a rattie !!!!!!!!!!!!! :( WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT.

When I spotted it at a DOTVW day and saw how it had been vandalized I was so upset went home. :( Bluey.jpg

Like with Igor ..... sold him knowing he'd become a marketing vehicle for a company ...... wasn't told he'd lose the tin top for a poptop :(

    Aaaaaarrrrgggghhhhh...........the horror.......
For a bus that graced the pages of VWMA poor Igor is not even a shadow of his former self......
If only I’d jumped at the time.......just didn’t have the readies.
    One of life’s great regrets......
It’s what is under all that colour that is truly art.....the owner will never know what they’ve destroyed........
Would love to know where he is now......could be a resurrection thread if Igor could be acquired....
    Cheers,

I can tell your disdain for the stuff won’t even spell it correctly, either that or you don’t want to get it confused with your preferred motion picture rating system!

Black ones were off a motor bike and you couldn't see jack schitt with them - when I retired I was asked what I would like and so I sent a link through to my PA for a sent of SS ones from The Bus Stop which he organised for the company to buy.

As Mark has said the rego ended in IGR and Lion Nathan via their agent never changed the rego from QLD as the XXXX brewery is in Milton QLD.

Should have picked a different picture where the number plate could be seen but then the pop top wouldn't have been.
