Hitting the lower roof line when stepping through the van with a hat on to the drivers seat............the vinyl has split in that exact spot where numerous heads have “hit the spot” Our Daughter and son-in-law have just bought a Viscount pop top caravan and the previous owner has glued a small cushion where your head would hit the door frame on the way out............forward thinking !
Who remembers or has one of these in their toolbox ..... still got the one that became part of the tool kit 50 years ago when I got my 1st car - 1962 VW Beetle
We have and still use that type of cutlery - some handed to me after the grandmother passed and some to the wife from when her mum passed. The knives all Sheffield never seem to blunt ..... also have a Fruit Salad Knife which has the serrated cutting edge. Who could forget the wooden spoons.
Why I raised it was because I had mentioned it to a guy a couple of years junior to me who tells me he knows so much ..... well this little tool just dump him in it as he'd never heard of it.
I felt sorry for non-Croweaters because we had "Golden North" which was simply the best ice cream. Honourable mention to my home town's "Freesia"
Speaking of TV what is the oldest TV show your memory can go back ... considering we didn’t get TV till 1966 .., Magic circle club ... quite scary for today’s standard..
HR Puff'n'Stuff......or Magic Roundabout ? but when I start thinking, there could be earlier....Id have to see a timeline of the programs I watched. Cheers, Mark
Bandstand was a good one ...........and my parents always watched Graham Kennedy’s In Melbourne Tonight.
