we have a type 2 1962ish gearbox and has two sump plugs? Why?

Also does 2.5 quarts sound right for fill amount.

    Thanks, HnD

The factory manual says 2.5 lt to fill the box and 250 ml in each reduction box.
Not sure why there are two plugs but the book says drain the old oil from both of them.
    Cheers

Thanks all. Heels aside, the bus has her shoes on again and should be dancing out of the shed again this weekend.
