Its on again the Wollombi Wander cruise 24 - 25 Nov !!!!!
Plan is to meet at Peats Ridge Village shops 1112 Peats Ridge rd on Sat 24 at 12 noon, where the original Oaks milk bar once stood.
Join in on a leisurely cruise down through the picturesque Wollombi Valley to the historical village of Wollombi.
Take wander around the historical buildings, church, quaint shops, then refresh your thirst with a cold beer at the tavern, home of the Dr Jurds Jungle Juice.
The Tavern offers free camping in the back paddock, where we'll line up the buses for a photo shoot from the pubs rear balcony.
All are welcome stay over night, providing we custom the bar while its open, restaurant will also be open for dinner.
Come for just the day cruise or enjoy a few drinks at the bar & camp overnight.
    Tony

Hey Guys n Girls, 11 more days to the Wollombi Wanderer Cruise
See attached planed route we'll be taking from Peats Ridge to Wollombi & also the meeting point, there's a Caltex servo with a car park across the road.
Its around 1 hr north up the M1 from Sydney, take the Peats Ridge turnoff to Peats Ridge rd at Calga.
If your coming from the north, take the Peats Ridge turnoff onto to Peats Ridge Rd at Somersby

Looks like a mate of mine is going to bring his recent T4 purchase on this cruise:cool: after much encouragement from us about joining this inclusive club( yeah..we may take the mickey as it's T4:p...is it a real kombi???). We can't make it :( but he's keen to get into this Kombi cruising if a T$4 (typo:p) is acceptable:rolleyes:. He knows the engine is at the wrong end:). To be fair he did own a T2 when we were a lot younger. He'll also help keep the bar patronised to continue the accommodation;) (& keep up my end:oops:). He's driving a red Trakka (must be faster.... ) Kombi. Please welcome him if he makes it:D.
    Cheers

previously owning a t4 they are nice to drive and is a future collectable{ if you could by the parts for them in 10 years...heeee} and it has the VW badge on the front so that's good enough for me to join in.

    Doesn't really matter all that much, T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 Beetle, Type 3s, even Things:eek:, all are apart of a family of people who share a passion......Volksvargen!!!! :):):)
We've always found KC people pretty laidback, casual & easy to chat with, so please come along, meet some new crew & enjoy a beautiful drive.

I wonder if this was the red T4 Tracker camper for sale at Bugs n Buses in July, it was in stunning condition, like new.
Be good to see it mixing it up with KC events.
