The rims looks great  ..... if they are from a T3 Syncro then they'd be authentic VW so keep them ;) ..... get bored of all white then get some pin stripe painted on them :).

(PS. don't let the banter of some of the members scare you as they like carrying on.....:confused:)

Not the best time of year as a lot of the mechanic shops & RWC people have taken holidays and won't start back until Monday 6th and some later than that .... don't stress and as Col said check number with VW Salvage ;)

    Mine was RWC'd by...
    https://www.safetycertificates.com.au/

They do mobile RWCs on the Goldie, and they were pretty quick when John (previous parent of kombi) wanted to get it done just before Christmas.

Well she passed her roadworthy today (as a 2 seater). Bloke said I could get an engineer look at and try get passed as a 4 seater but I had my doubts considering back seat base velcro's on to timber. I also did not want the stress just in case. He said he'd have to remove seatbelts in back before he could issue roadworthy but I assured him they were only being used keep my 2 wee terriers safe and he agreed. All good.

I went for Victorian custom plates - Vic. plates in 1974 were black and white. Quite expensive at $800 odd, but I reckon the look is worth it.

Personally I like old school sized plates.
Don’t think the slim line suit.

And I am too stingy to pay any additional registration fees for a custom plate.

    Bare bones like my kombi
