Congratulations! A lovely way to start the new year
Nice. Now go cruising.
Sweet bus. Welcome aboard. Enjoy
Good way to kick of 2020, pretty hard to bet that for a new year. That smile tells it all enjoy.
Awesome! glad it got there safely, it looks great
Glad it arrived safely. Looks a great purchase!
Looks like a really nice bus. Congratulations
Nice Christmas present ..... now for getting the Qld RWC
The rims looks great ..... if they are from a T3 Syncro then they'd be authentic VW so keep them ..... get bored of all white then get some pin stripe painted on them .
(PS. don't let the banter of some of the members scare you as they like carrying on..... )
I got a number from vw salvage for a mobile safety cert guy. Just rang and it's wrong number 0431679636 any suggestions from anyone please?
Check back with salvage
Not the best time of year as a lot of the mechanic shops & RWC people have taken holidays and won't start back until Monday 6th and some later than that .... don't stress and as Col said check number with VW Salvage
Mine was RWC'd by...
They do mobile RWCs on the Goldie, and they were pretty quick when John (previous parent of kombi) wanted to get it done just before Christmas.
Well she passed her roadworthy today (as a 2 seater). Bloke said I could get an engineer look at and try get passed as a 4 seater but I had my doubts considering back seat base velcro's on to timber. I also did not want the stress just in case. He said he'd have to remove seatbelts in back before he could issue roadworthy but I assured him they were only being used keep my 2 wee terriers safe and he agreed. All good.
Can't decide what plates put on her? Any suggestions? I don't mean really exy personalised. Just wee bit extra for slim line maybe? Do ya think they look more same era?!
I went for Victorian custom plates - Vic. plates in 1974 were black and white. Quite expensive at $800 odd, but I reckon the look is worth it.
Noice! Thanks heaps for feedback. I think I can get white on black for $175 extra
Personally I like old school sized plates.
Don’t think the slim line suit.
And I am too stingy to pay any additional registration fees for a custom plate.
Bare bones like my kombi
I reckon top left look cool? yeah $175 I don't need to spend but qld sunshine state plates a bit eeek and she's sooooo pretty...
