Ours was named Basil when we got it. But my wife and I agreed that she needed a girls name. So after much thinking we called her Doris! Kind of a nickname that my mother calls my sister(even though her name is Sarah).
Blitz was renamed from the previous owners who name him "Flash". As he was German built his name was translated to the fatherland much to the little ladies dismay as it conjures up visions of the bombing of England.

Katie Denise is the name of my kombi.... Katie comes from the actual first name of a UK glamour model called Jordan. Denise is the first name of a UK actress called Denise Welch, after her divorce she used to get quite involved with the beers and younger men and was always over the newspapers on being worse for wear... so what does that all have to do with my kombi? Well it all came down to the rigidness of the gearbox at the time.... or more honestly the slackness of the box... I'll get my coat.....

"Miles" , cause he was 1,000 miles away in Coffin bay S.A. and the manager of the electrical place, that fixed up the blinkers was named Miles. Plus when pulled up at his shop, the front wall was lime green in colour
