I did write a lot more but I was told it was too long and had to delete half of it. Such is life. Cheers Vince.
Gidday Ninga! A voice from the long past. "Titch" AKA Vince and Jackie. Now living in Tassie. Moved some 7 months ago in January. Long long story with ins and outs you would not believe. Now living in Elizabeth Town about 20 feet from the four lane Bass Highway. Spend most of the time chopping wood. Just Jackie and myself and our two very spoilt dogs. How are all you lot going?
Hi again, I did write a message that was about three times as long but it would not go because it had more than so many letters. So the end result is somewhat disjointed. All the same, many happy returns. V and J
Titch, alias Vince of Vince and Jackie, very aged oldies, from Coolamon. Very many happy returns for your birthday. I just noticed it was the 22nd of January. Hope you are fit enough to celebrate. How are things going? Our best wishes to you all during the next few weeks. Lets know what happens.
Thank you Ninga so much. It has been a traumatic two weeks with my sister in law here. We had to fly up to Sydney to meet her last Friday fortnight. Her flight arrived early Saturday morning. Over 30 international flights came in in an hour and a half. Crowds everywhere, then struggle to the domestic terminal for flight back to Wagga. She is the only traveler with an old bag with no wheels and weighs a ton. Have just arrived back from Sydney about an hour ago. Nearly had to bring her back to our place as Air Canada had overbooked the flight. After much pleading we got her on her way, thank goodness. Have to see where we were up to when we were interrupted. Thanks once again for your sweet thought. I was going to drop you a line about some of my ancestors who lived around your neck of the woods. I'll try this coming week. Titch /alias Titch, et al.
Hi Ninga. Sorry, am unable to help with a local mechanic for VW's as I haven't got mine on the road yet. There is a local?? VW club that may have some info or may be worth contacting some members for some direction. PS. I am hoping to do a fair bit of my own work with my limited mechanical ability and even more limited spare time! I think the club is: Riverina VW Club. Good luck.
