Easiest option is to take it to a spring person (eg Universal Springs in NSW) and get them to heat treat the springs...
What dropped spindles have you used?
I believe most widen the track a fair bit so depending on what wheels you run you may have some rubbing issues
Do you mean running nice or stumbling on?
If “stumbling on” then that is timing issues.
