Hello. I was wondering if a 091 bell housing from 1800 or 2 litre gearbox would fit an earlier 1600 engine?
I am wanting to make a remote starter for my 1600 engine. I am happy to make any modifications necessary to the bell housing to make it fit. Thanks. Mike.

A bellhousing from a 2lt or 17/1800 box will fit a 1600 but... the starter motors are different and you'll need the appropriate one to match.
    Also 091 is 2lt only ;)

x2, you should have no problem. I run a 1800 box with the 2L bellhousing, 094 hydraulic clutch, 2L starter, stage 1 200mm clutch on a EJ22 in my Manx.
