1800 gearbox ratios

    I'm buying a 1800 gearbox with the serial number cm18 11 4 on the side .my question is was there any different ratio's for say transporter and bus,or are they all the same? wouldn't like to up grade if it had the same diff as a 3 rib . thanks paul

    Unfortunately the diffs are different but so are the 4th gears so the final drive will end up the same you just end up with a taller 1st 2nd and 3rd gear but the revs at 100km will be the same you need to put the 1600 4th gear into the 1800box to drop the rpm or fit 2lt box
