Well, its been a while since i posted... work, work and life... they all get in the way of a VW revival.
Here is the lowlight indicator housing with no holes for the indicator bracket...
I decided to try some of those Riv Nuts:

Hopefully will get in to top coat over the next couple of weeks.......

The inside engine bay does really look great .Doesn't look like much had gone on in there in 40+ years. You doing a great job. I also like those aluminium nutsert they really work a treat .Every man should have them make any job easier. Putting S/S nutserts in are a little more troublesome.
