I have a 1973 Sopru Camper that is for sale now but won't be ready for a week or so.
This was a country Kombi that I bought in Narrabri last year.
Some rust but little compared to most.
There has been extensive work done to it most of which is backed up with photos.
All visible rust has been welded up.
New inner and outer rear valance.
    There were dents etc repaired.
Outside repainted with Autothane 2 pac paint in original Mustard colour.
Pop top painted in 2 pac Autothane white.
    New beading around pop top.
    New fibreglass roof vent.
Dash removed for rust repairs around windscreen and dash then painted.
Front doors, tailgate, engine lid removed for repairs and painting.
New door chrome trim, scrapers and bailey channels.
After painting, the whole vehicle drowned with fish oil everywhere I could get it.
Pressure cleaned underneath removing red earth dirt.
Engine was partially dismantled when I got it with one head removed with burnt valve.
Brand new head installed with tin ware painted.
    New engine mounts.
    New engine seal.
New clutch, pressure plate and bearing installed.
    New muffler and tailpipe.
2 new front tyres and existing good rear tyres.
    Rims painted.
Bumber bars repaired and painted in 2 pac paint.
New ball joints about to be installed.
    New quality complete tail lights.
    New front blinker lenses.
    New VW badge.
    New door rubbers .
New engine lid and tailgate rubbers.
    New window rubbers.
    New windscreen.
Front seats retrimmed and re-padded in original vinyl basket weave look.
    New front door trims.
    New front floor mat.
    New under seat rubber mats.

The rear interior is original in worn condition and will need attention allowing for new buyers budget and taste but I have priced the kombi accordingly.

There is no fridge but an original stove unit is there,
Rock and roll seat there, missing rear foam mattress.
Pop top skirt in fair to good condition.

As of today, it is still on my hoist and has not been driven but it will be drivable soon.
There is an opportunity for anyone to see it from now on the hoist and inspect to their hearts content.
It will be sold unregistered as it may go interstate but I have happy to get a blueslip for NSW buyers.

In those 2 weeks, I had a few short drives which resulted in wheel alignment and a couple of electrical issues to fix.
There was a rear end shudder whilst driving that I didn't like.
The rear tyres were at least 95% tread but had been sitting on it for years.
I put 2 new tyres, matching the new front ones and the shudder went.
Just old age tyres that had been sitting too long.
The starter motor was a bit lazy and not what I was happy with so a high torque new one fixed that as well.
All good to go on its maiden voyage to Sydney.
It made it there, phew :)
