I got a break in the rain when i got home from Gosford and snapped a few...

Lowered as far a possible at the front with just adjusters ... paul said it with settle a little lower in the next few days... another half inch to an inche... and turned one notch on the back spline ...

    Great work Karstan.

Great to see any 71 low-light getting good treatment. The new stance is great and with all the new bits it will be looking very flash.

Looking forward to the finished product. Those Paris sunroofs also look really good.

    Cheers,

Today got a few things done since it didnt rain ... was able to fit the rear valance and dig out a big ding of bog and i spent hours with the hammer and dolly panel beating it back to shape... Took a lot of patience...

I want it lower .... i want it to be visable to the untrained eye.... Those who know kombis will notice but to my partner for example she said it looks the same :-(

The handling is Soooo much better ... next to know body roll... yeah you can feel the bumps alittle more... but thats what i love about a kombi is that you can feel every little thing...

When the rain stopped i bit the bullet and the borther and i started to take the poptop off ... didnt take long a few screws to take out and drilled out a few pop rivets .... Paris beetle sunroof sitting there ready to go in after paint job .. There was heaps of dirt between to poptop and roof ... its easy to see how rust can be bad there .. all i had was a little rust hole around one of the rivets..

    Looking good.
What rims did you decide to use?
Will you throw a twin carb kit into the mix?
    Cheers, J
