Here's the original painted timber grain dash on our 38 that I mentioned, will look awesome in the Kombi, cant wait to see it finished.
Looks great Geoff, I’m glad there are talented people like this in the world. There is no way I could have got my dash and steering wheel to match otherwise
Been a while between updates, but today the custom smoothed bumpers have been mounted up for the last time. Beyond happy.
Gotta be happy with that & I know the "beyond happy" feeling. Looks perfect. Bloody nice paint job.
Yeah Will3Q customs have smashed the bodywork and paint
Bumpers, certainly worth the wait
Haha not sure if taking the piss or serious comment haha.
But yeah has been a long wait between updates for just bumpers, but damn they be nice bumpers lol
All good Josh ...... they are damn nice bumpers so worth the wait
The kombi is back home for reassembly. First thing was a proper test fit of the new wheels. Once the blue slip is done I will drop it down as low as I can.
All looking awesome Josh, bumpers look great, love the colour!!
On the home straight now .
Around the final furlong, finish line in sight. Photo finish.Looking good. Like to see the inside when it's done?
That will be the very last job completed.. but not at off now
Waitin' to see that sweet wood grain dash!!
The plan is to have it installed in the next two weeks
Time for an update JoshG.
Hi David, not too much to report. I have been working most weekends the last 5 weeks. But I have got bits and pieces done. I have been working to get all the wiring completed and slowest getting bits fitted up. I have been supplied a few incorrect parts accidentally from different suppliers, so now I need to get the night bits.
Really frustrated that I have been supplied the wrong boss kit, it says it’s for a 68-74, but it doesn’t even come close to fitting.
I have finished up the wiring to the lights and installed the indicators back in, but the headlight surrounds I got are wrong, so waiting for replacements.
I have also installed the emblem
