That column looks too small to be correct for a 72. It looks to have a 17mm spline and would be off a 74.5>79.

Seeing a photo of the indicator/wiper switch would confirm it.

After more research I have been starting to think the same thing. Here is my steering column, are you able to confirm?

Sure did, even better is the steering column is literally the only part of the car that hadn’t been painted yet. So massive win all round

Looking good Josh;). Keep plodding on.
Parts can be one of the most frustrating bits of a resto:mad:. I learnt over time to buy it when I saw it not when I needed it.

Funny you post this today Jethro as I was looking back over the Resto thread & saw Josh's thread hadn't been updated for a while & wanted to ask the same question:rolleyes:.

    Hey guys,

Sorry about lack of updates. To be honest there hasn’t been much to update. I have been building a new house and the rental I am in just doesn’t have the space to do what I need to do. I’m only a few weeks away from the new house being finished, so once I get it moved over there I will be able to crack on back at it and get it on the road.

Also been trying to keep funds aside in case any suprise costs pop up for us.

Don’t worry it will get done soon enough
