    Been hard to find time for the kombi just lately but got some windows in and put the hinge covers on.

    Asmall update got some lights in the roof but thats about it for the moment.

    Are they LED lights?? Where did they come from and do they just fit into the standard spots??

    Yes Mate they are led lights from led technologies p/l, They are Australian owned.
    They dont fit in the same hole but they mount on the same spot no bracket just a couple of screws on each hidden behind the white covers.

    I like them they were about $25.00 each with a 3year warranty.

    Hey dakdak, it a R & R from www.Justkampersaustralia.com I have one ready to install in my T3. $640 The kit can be adjusted to full width, 3/4 or single and any size in between.

    Yes thats true, the bus stop has them also but sometimes the free post from just kampers prices Roy out of it, but a lot of the time the bus stop has better quality stuff.

    thanks all,that looks like the best option,i had ideas of fabricating one up,idea now forgotten.yeah wyee just down the way from here ,there seems to be a fine contingent of buses around the northern end ,theres a fella at repco up from the doyalson lights that have lowlight nearly same colour as yours ,we should have a get together one day

    Once i started to dyna mat just couldn't stop. got a cheaper type for the floor works well and moulds better i think.

    What a fun job putting the windows back in!! Half a day for the first and an hour for the second.

    Looks great, I have never driven my bus (bought it not running :umm:), so don't actually know how much heat and noise is generated, is it considerable, is doing the dynamat worth while?

    I also bought mine not running, Havn't owned and driven a kombi for more than 20 years.

    What i can say is that it takes the tiny-ness (if thats a word) out of the panels, should make for a much equieter ride,

    Heat i don't know about. Worth while I dont know yet.

    I am cutting in the carpet at the moment, not sure if i sould just sew a binding around the edge or get them over locked.
    If i over lock the edges can anyone recomend some one newcastle central coast area please.
