Sounds like a great roadtrip.....
Well done, and thanks for sharing the enjoyable pics.
This is a Great thread. i Can almost feel the enjoyment.
Added a few final touches to Woodstock
Extra shelving above the fridge and sink, cut a reject shop box in half, also USB ports one next to the sliding door and another next to and connected to the switch block.
Outside water connection, purchased one of those flexible hoses that expand now we can use as a shower when camping or wash down the surfboards after a surf if there is no water around
Next project would be a Teardrop trailer to tow behind
Has anyone made one of these???????????

A bit of information and ideas here
Lots of info here
Plans and all in the 2nd link
Thanks for the info Barry, some good reading there
Ian (tinbits) on here has made one and he is just south of the Sunshine Coast
Been a while since I have been online, just to update that we did find the teardrop camper for Woodstock.
Purchased from a boat builder, I was going to try to build but found this much better option
The camper came with the esky mounted on the front plus a dome tent to cover from the rain when camping.
The interior is spacious for 2 adults and tows easily
First mod was to change the axle hub and wheels to VW, so now I have matching set, only 1 spare required to reduce weight.
I have purchased Beetle rear guards to modify and use to look retro, that's a latter project
First Kombi camping trip in the Teardrop to Cabarita Beach
A lot of fun and a breeze to tow
