95 Octane fuel?

    I suppose that every engine is different and its needs are different as well, I have been running my van on 95 {98 when I cant get 95} for 6 mths now and have certainly noticed a difference in pulling power as well as smoother running, I know my carbies need rebuilding but that's a job for later on not just yet, and regards the cost of 95 or 98 usually only amounts to the price of a cup of coffee at the deli per tank say $4 which in todays terms is bugger all. As I see it you certainly are not going to do any damage to the motor and you may just be giving it a longer life span.
