If you dump all with under 20 posts you would never have any new members; pity it can't be determined by quality not quantity.
Nooooo that means id get kicked out
doesnt realy matter how many posts or whats contributed [except when it sets owners on a wrong path]. All part of the tapestry . Im sure many of us here are also on other forums where we dont contribute much but appreciate the advice or info.
Couldnt agree more....although...
if they were going to kick people off...then maybe users that have registered for more than a year and have never posted
And if they want to post they could always register
If I was going to get rid of anyone, it would be the members who have signed up, never posted and never visited again. I can see the dates a person last visited.
Another couple of "lurkers".......
for me. im the kind of person who wont post unless i have something to contribute, or find value it the conversations. However i visit the site multiple times a day to see whats new, read the threads and hopefully learn more about my van. This is an important resource for someone like me who is new to VW's drawing from the experiences of the many.
Hey dont get me wrong, i work with cars and trucks all day and have built many a car but have been enjoying the new journey of discovering all things german an enjoy both the information and the levity.
That makes you active.
If you post on this thread or another you are active, IE not dead

Does the data base of members cause management/storage capacity problems??
If people join and then don't come back for 12 months, then they're probably just number blockers. I suppose some do it to see what's in the member's section and then disappear.
I don't get on here as often as I used to due to other commitments. Usually bloody work:umm: I wish my organisation would hire some more casuals, but then again, I might not get any work and then I'd be complaining about that:lol:
The what pisses me off thread is for you Aime...
Not that I know of. They would be people who signed up to look in the For Sale section - read the checklist, got scared off and never came back! lol
Or signed up to sell a kombi, & never returned........
Hi everyone love the thread but can't work out what our number is????
Jason, Leisa, Jarril, Ashka and our beloved Esme
this reminds me of study into Facebook. Seems the average number of "Friends" a Facebook user / profile reports in Australia is just under 100.
When asked - "How many of these "Friends" to you speak to personally...? the number is only 4 or 5.... But all these profiles are ACTIVE....
I read our site almost daily but rarely post.... You guys are WAY TOO smart....
BINGO- I'll have the roast - I also don't know what number we are up to but count me in, we seemed to be at 120 at one stage then we dropped back has any one got a abacus
Separate names with a comma.
