Hi all. This post may be a bit irregular so moderators feel free to remove. A work colleague has been talking about his neighbour in Brisbane with a 1972 type 3 since I bought my kombi. It seems the time has come for him to part with it.

I have attached 4 of the pics. I did notice that the dates are 2004 so may look different today and I personally do not know the seller or the car

Here are the words that accompanied the photos sent to me.

'My old mate is letting go of his type3, it has been in his family since new. It was restored at some point (late 90's from memory) and has done little work since. Any chance one of your vw club guys would be interested? No idea what he wants for it, but I suspect he wants someone who would appreciate it/look after it if you know what I mean.'

If you would be interested please just send me private message on KC and I will put you in touch. Again I do not know car or seller, but can understand that some just don't want to put there vehicles out there in the classifieds and have to deal with scammers and low-ballers.

It looks nice and it should be posted in for sale section!

It can't go in the For Sale section as he does not have a price and Paul77 is not the owner.

    Mmmm
Would save me a lot of work if I could convince Alanna.
But unfortunately the squareback's space is too usefull.

Agree, it's too nice to go to some flipper or dipstick that doesn't appreciate what it is.

I like what I see. Sadly our yard is full and my hip pocket empty. Pity really. Hope it goes to someone who appreciates it not slams it or modifies it into a turd.
