I have been reading up but cant find anything recent on types of battery chargers.
I have a 110Ah AGM 2nd battery with solar/VSR that I would like to be able to charge when Im home plus it would be nice to be able to charge the starting batteries in our cars if needed.
Can somone point me in the right direction or a link to where the info is.
    Thanks Nik

    C-Tek.

I wouldn't use a Supercheap for your situation. They are OK for occasional use.

The size depends realy on how quick you need to charge your batteries.

I work on the 1/10 principle - ie the charge should deliver 1/10 the capacity of the battery.

    for a 120AH battery I would use a 12A charger.

That would be suitable for overnight charging.

I have 2 C Tec 12v 5.0 amp work well, just plug in and leave till next time you drive and they trickle charge with no damage to your battery.
Repco have them in different amps start around 80.00 and ebay start around 69.00, hope that helps.

Ctek MXS 25 is an excellent charger for what you want.
I have had ours for a few years now and it is faultless

I got a CTEK MXS4CA and have used it a number of times (twice on the T3 before I sold it) and while it cost $160 it has a 5 yr warranty - I bought it off the RACQ road side assist truck after a call out for low battery charge. Very happy with it.
