It was a glorious sunny day and we got over 151 cars and fitted in fine
Not far to walk to the markets either
Def a sunscreen day, of perfect blue skies, and warm temps.
The relocated venue at the Bowling Club worked out well for the attendees.
I even ended up now buying & owning a @Barry Stainless Steel Wood Heater / BBQ Grill...
A few pics:
Next year, I’m going to get up and leave 15 minutes earlier, to give me time to visit a car wash in Nowra, to make the bus look like it did when it leaves home....... before it hits the inevitable roadwork section somewhere on route, where they remove the bitumen, and have a soggy kilometre of compacted mud you need to drive through!
Wasn’t a “show & shine” - just a “show the road grime”
Won that grimy one.
Looks like a good turnout
I wonder if that is my old silver Mk1 Golf there?
Couldn't make it unfortunately, but keen to hear more regarding the venue change from those who did.
Also, does anyone know if this venue is going to be a permanent thing, or will it go back to the Showground next year?
Yep, another awesome day, weather was perfect, nice to catch up with everyone again and a great turnout.
I just made it in tome to bring up the rear of the Komvoy from Helensburgh
Coffee at Thirroul
Beautiful Bugs too
Then the Sams @SamVan turned up just before the end.
Also great to see Etta back after her 22,000km journey!!
Those stripes look cool!
A couple more from the Komvoy
How many did you get in the komvoy?
I count 20. Wow..wish I was part of that.
You were invited...... but you chose to decline!
Lesson learnt. Reckon that was the total number (20) of kombis at Bugs & Buses!
Great pics of the South bound Komvoy Jethro!
I didn’t bother taking any pics of the North East bound Komvoy of 1.....
Besides, it was moving at the usual T3 blurr speed....
Come on, there were at least 2 or 3 more than that. Besides there was that Cocker Spaniel. If you weren't at Bugs & Buses you would never have met Kit.
And thanks everyone for the photographs.
Do you mean Blue Speed?
We would seriously have had trouble getting there after getting back from Byron Bay on friday which was a straight drive thru. Imagine getting up on saturday to drive another 300km plus & then back on Sunday.
I'm getting soft in my old age but does mean I wish I was there!
I think it may have drifted a little above the posted speed limit at times, whilst I was concentrating on driving safely, and looking at the road ahead, instead of looking down away from the road, at the speedo...
Oh, like that will work with the local constabulary......
