The only Shamrock Hotel I know is up here in Brisbane - is there another one down Byron way?

    already done the research..
there are 4 Shamrock Hotels in Australia:

    * in Brissy now called the "Step Inn"
    * in Alexandra (near the Goulburn Hwy)
    * in Toowoomba (thanks for letting me know Tinkerbell)

    * the other in Vic which we think he came from....as they used the green Shamrock in there advertising the same as the signwriting on his door....
    Shamrock Hotel
    579 - 583 High St
    Echuca, VIC
    3564

I have emailed them & asked them if they might have owned him ...hoping on a good reply...may even send them a pic of his door as proof..

Woo hoo!! He looks a beauty. :D

I agree with Josh - a really great, dark Shamrock green (similar to a British Racing Green) would look the duck's nuts with Mercy as a party. And you'd have to bling him up the same as M too. One of the boys, one for the girls.

This is a bit of a hijack but I hope Judy doesn't mind.

I was just interested to see hwo people think about colour. (obviously this is none of anyone's business but Judy's) but I thought it might be cool to share the free tool I use for graphic colour selection (recalling I'm not trained in any way)

    This nifty website.

    http://colorschemedesigner.com/

Allows you to enter your primary colour and come up with complementary colours. If, say, a fleet of limo kombis was being prepared, you could choose if you wanted opposite yet complementary colours. Interestingly in that case, the colour of shamrock now is pretty nice :) - or a sort of mustard. I bet mellow yellow kombis look nice next to M.

Or you could go in the same hues on the same side of the scheme. Different shades. Have a bit of a play around with the app on the link and you'll see.

Sorry for hijack judy, but this is a conversation after all :D

This app coupled with busselecta and I can nearly survive my 47 kombiless weeks a year.

Excellent score Judy. Like you I'm going for a matching pair. Jake and Elwood will be known as the Blues Bros and my two sons will dress appropriately when they drive them and people about

I too am excited to see the progress!
I played at the Shamrock Hotel here in Brisbane before it changed to the Step Inn... but unfortunately saw no splits carrying drunks home, haha.
Good luck with the resto, and the search for his origins!
