First trip away in Martha, stayed overnight at Cedar Creek lodges on Mount Tamborine. Very good campsite on the creek, rock pools a few minutes walk, showers and toilets pretty good and good fire pits for the camp fire at night. Will definitely go back there !!!

    Heres a few photos

You will never bore us with photos we love them, that looks like a great spot. Is there enough room there for a larger number of kombi's? Maybe we could have a KC event there.

    Thanks Zane
I have been there once for a work function, it would be a good spot if we can camp away from the cabins.
It would be a bit cold there in June but if camp fires are allowed that would be good. Judy maybe we could celebrate M's birthday at Klubfest if the dates are right.

    Hi Folks

Another great spot for camping and a club meet is spring gully at Canungra. Many car clubs have held funcutions here. Great camping facilities. Not far from Canungra winery,O'Reillys, Lamington National Park, the coast etc.Very cheap rates.

I beleive there are 2 camping parks at literally the same place. Im pretty certain the one we stayed at is cedar creek lodges. There seems to be a lot of space there so Im sure it accomadate a KC meet. THe other park may be even better I dont know, we chose that one as we got a spot for 5 campsites right next to the creek.

There is also the thunderbird park thnigy right next door for abseiling, horse riding etc ?!?!

    favourite time

This is my favourite time when camping - kids are still asleep, sun is just coming up (hopefully) and there is that beautiful quiet and calm. And you get you first cup of coffee, listening to the birds wake and everyone starts getting out of bed and looking for a heart starter. :umm:
