Hi 77X, any idea of whereabouts in the Hunter you'd like to camp, its a big place, ranging from the Barringtons to Merriwa down to Wollombi and across to the ocean........

There's a Big4 (www.big4.com.au) park in the Hunter but I don't think they allow pets.

Riverwood downs in Barrington Tops is awesome. Has a creek you can swim in and choice of camp sites to cabins and even a great restaurant you can take your dog to and feed tid bits! It's on a working farm and a great escape with all amenities but still feels like camping!
