I've seen those, but they are different. Maybe they are based on overseas models?

Thanks Lorraine, that's the one. The only difference is the rpm to set the dwell angle.
Yours are in great condition, especially the 'birth' certificate on the glass.

There are different ones available depending on which engine and year model you have. Lorraine's is for a 1600 with a single vacuum advance.

Thanks Syncro, yep it is a very dark blue almost midnight. So I will need to be sure to capture the correct colour with the printer. Here are a couple more photos of other stickers on my 76 Kombi which I believe are all original.

That tyre pressure sticker is an Australia only. Note the part number "22A".

I thought that the valve clearances were different on a type 4 engine???

That explains why my timing speed is higher. 1800 auto, can't remember if it was originally a vacuum or mechanical advance, I replaced it with a petronix electronic dizzy. Kept the original for a spare. Same with the heavy duty Donaldson aircleaner when I replaced it with higher flow filters

Do you know anywhere that sells this one? I've seen plenty of European & American ones but they are different

Yours is a great find. I don't know how many times mine has been around the clock, I'm hoping to put it around a few more by the time I finish with it

you could try Warb. He is the bloke that sells stickers at the Nationals
Pretty sure this is his website http://esigns.com.au/

Not sure if he is on here, but occasionally visits AVD. Believe he is most active on DSK

I've got a 76 sopru & had another 76 sopru before both with stickers & I thought the backing colour was BLACK over silver lettering. I'd buy 2 just to stay in front. Currently in the p/beaters getting that new look. Have lots of sopru knowledge but less computer savvy! Got photos of that sticker but can't upload. Don't know why?? View attachment 29709

    Cheers,

Backing colour is definately a very dark blue......
I originally thought mine was losing its colour until it was pointed out that it is actually blue !!
If the sticker is silver on black, there's a good chance its been replaced at some stage.
    Cheers,
    Mark

Hi David, I'm in Murrays Beach and my Kombi is identical to your 1976 Sopru Conversion in Wattle. I managed to get a couple of Campmobile stickers made up by a guy in Ballarat for $20.00 each. Your welcome to have a look at them. They are not as dark as I hoped but the size, font and foil base are spot on. Let me know if you'd like to have a look and we can set something up.
    Craig
