Last night I was flicking around the channels and stumbled across Chuck saving the day - I think the movie was called Delta Force?. ............Anyway, one of the action scenes was a car chase - the baddies in their jeeps chasing Chuck and his off sider in a bay - Chuck hanging out the sliding door shooting of hundreds of rounds from his sub machine gun without changing mags - you know how it goes............. The kombi did very well - even did a bit of drifting around some of the corners and drove down a flight of stairs. Sadly, the kombi expired and they had to switch vehicles - I guess an engine in the rear isn`t the best for a car chase with the baddies shooting. Lots of bullet holes. BTW numerous Kombi spotting opportunities throughout the movie - or the bit that I saw anyway.

No bullet holes on engine cover! Probably blew the gearbox the way he was punching gears.

Anyone notice the Beetle parked on the side of the road halfway through? About the only vehicle that wasn't collateral damage :p
