Anyone interested in a convoy from Central Coast leaving Thursday morning 24/3/16
Are yo going through Sydney Phil?
Have no Idea how to get to Forbes was going to set GPS & take from there. Just a thought if the Newcastle convoy passes the Central Coast then could link up with them.
There's a thread regarding newcastle Komvoy http://forums.kombiclub.com/threads/convoy-from-newcastle-thursday-24-3.52862/#post-568678
Well looks like the Newcastle mob are not passing central Coast so will be going via Sydney, any suggestions of meeting place and time.
Haven't thought about it yet. There may be a convoy from Sydney so will wait and see. I'm taking my bay so you may be too quick for me Phil.
mmm outcast already
Hey Uke, I'm leaving on Thursday morning from Sydney. Maybe start a convoy from Western Sydney somewhere.
Just think of the fuel economy if you travel with the bays Phil!!
we will be leaving western Sydney Thursday not sure of a time
Google maps say 4 hours 43 minutes from Sutherland Shire to Forbes. Is there an official multiplication rate for traveling in a Kombi?
What speed do you travel at Andy?
Firstly, doubt google maps......if you can leave home in the Sutherland Shire, and expect to be in Forbes 4 hours 43 minutes later, it's just not going to happen in any car, unless there are absolutely no other vehicles on the road.
Closer to 5.5 hours with a straight run and no stops in a vehicle doing the speed limit + 10% for a pre 1979 stock kombi = around 6 hours driving time.
I sit on 85 maybe 90
We are keen to come along through the central coast.
Hi Andrew, I would like to leave early Thursday morning, could meet up at the Ourimbah rest area
Sounds like a plan.
Fastest with tolls is 5hours 47 minutes are you happy with tolls. If so how about 7:30 at Ourimbah
Any one else want to have a T3 convoy
Hey Jeff, lookin forward to seeing you & Jodie again
Gaye & I will be travelling early Thurs morn from Nth Beaches, maybe we could hook up.
Our old 1600 may have a chance keeping up if your towing the teardrop
Perhaps all Thursday convoys leaving from Sydney region meet up somewhere for lunch never been to Forbes but somewhere around Bathurst could be an option
Separate names with a comma.
