David does his first service

Discussion in 'Off Topic' started by Mr Percival, Aug 18, 2007.

  1. David did his first service on Mr Percival today...... you should have seen him when he finished, grinning from ear to ear, even filled in the service record.
all credit to him as he did a great job, Mr P is purring like a kitten.

But pleeeaaaassseeee somebody stop him!!!!! he now thinks he some kind of Kombi Guru, just look out at the next meet as he may even offer to work on yours.. ( word of advice....... ask him to "step away from the kombi" ) :):):)

he used John Muirs book as a guide and loves it... he is going to tackle the bearing next...he is on fire!!!!

I know that elated feeling too. I had to rebuild Krumbli's motor and went to the front to look for the bonnet. He is still running and I am stoked.

Good work Dave, there's no better feeling than doing the maintenance on your Kombi yourself. :)
