I tried this best quality door seal and found it was 100mm too long top to bottom both lhs and rhs so I cut it and reglued. It fit well on 3 edges but the front edge balloons out. Any suggestions I'm tempted to bin it and get one from Roy

I just got a "best quality" one from JK and it doesn't look anything like yours. It has moulded corners and has moulded sections where they need to be. The cross section is more a square with a lip than a bubble like yours. I'm away so can't send a pic of it till Monday.

Definitly doesn't look right - could it be in back to front?

The cross section that you have if its from a sliding door rubber would go top or bottom not on the sides. To me the rear of the sliding door rubber should have the larger of the two flaps. Front section of the sliding door should have a smaller flap.

Mine was from JK too. Maybe mine is the wrong rubber.

Yeah I'm thinking it's totally the wrong rubber I've got.

That cross section is on all fours sides on the rubber. I'll get one from Roy

    Hi Pomboy,
Not what mine looks like. Mines from Roy. Block sits in body & blade (bit like a wiper blade) looks at inside of slider as it comes at it. Blade is on RHS of pic. The blue is B pillar slider seal.jpg2.jpg
And looking from inside at the blade

Me thinks yours is not the right one:rolleyes:
    Cheers
