I think it is normally the 22 of June, but I used the excuse to drive mine today.
Went shopping in the Tranny and then went and visited Hurricane to see how the Devon was coming along ( hes doing a good job too) and then went for a decent cruise in the split up to the hills to visit another Tranny owner.

Just realised I have two Microbus Deluxes now, the split and the Caravelle, as they are not called Deluxes anymore I think the Caravelle was the top of the range??

Nice pic - Caravelle I think came in different guises - GL GLS but that may have been in earlier models

Maybe you should have got TRANNY as your plate.
Then again this could have led to some possible confusion & even some offers you may (or may not) appreciate. :D

This probably sounds funny, but I hope I'm not working on the 22nd because i don't trust my van enough to drive it to work -.- I might just drive it around the block

Well. The Sunliner got a workout this morning in the frigid Melbourne temps. Was going to drive the Velle to the airport tonight, but she cut out twice in the Easlink tunnels on the weekend....

So yep I can put my hand up and say "I did drive my VW today" Yippee!
