After two years of not being able to go finally made to this one .Both Carolyn and i took our vans up to Morgan and joined in to what turned out to be great not only great weather but a great turn out by VWs of all types .Thanks to Wombatadventures for his perseverance ,Terry has come up with goods and it shows by the increase in attendance , im sure this event will only get bigger in the years to come .Both Terry and i along with Carolyn have been discussing the viability of another gathering latter in the year and will keep every one posted on its. progress. Many thanks to all those who attended and special thanks to Terry. Chris.
Ok ok i didnt take to many but here is a few.Terry will be posting all of his latter on. But as you can see the weather turned out ok and just sitting around and cooking up a feed is a perfect way to spend the day amongst other v,dubbers.
Thanks for coming along Chris and Carolyn, and Marzy as well with his boys. Great to have a South Oz Kombi Club get together. (We missed you Geoff and Irene!) Twas a good day and I promise I'll put some photos up when I get home today.
Yes Bert ,it was ,after 2 years every thing going pear shape for my family and myself ,it was great to reach out and become mobile again ,and to be able to hit the road and go to these get togethers is a wonderful feeling , unfortunatly, once again it looks like the bus stop being held up your way is just to far for me to attend at the moment but as i improve health wise ,i will certainly be looking forward to a couple more journeys over the border . It is a probability that my daughter and i may do a few days away somewhere in Sth Aussie over the Easter break as we did a while back and although it was not like Bustop it was still a dam good trip . Cheers Bert Chris
With a few modifications to Paladin I reckon we could have got you here. Snorkel, propeller, periscope, floation tanks, night running infra red radar and sonar for underwater obstacle avoidance! Oh and a log to put on the roof for disguise!
Not always the quality Terry ..... it's the quantity ..... you know how we all like to check event/resto/ride/spotting pictures out
This Blue Crossover was sold to the present owner to finance the buying of a Fiat. My Yellow Squareback was sold to me to finance parts for the same Fiat! Marzys Bus
