    Hi all,
First time Kombi owner and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on installing Dynamat on the floor of my 1973 T2 Kombi before installing a sub floor / floor?

    Thanks for any suggestions.
    Cheers,
    David.

Worth doing but clean well and treat any rust areas beforehand

Welcome David Caldwell to the KC, this is again a personal opinion,on my own I didn't put any on the floor, mainly to do with trapping moisture in between the two layers of A dynamat and B the metal floor and you have no way of being able to check. Like a rubber mat you can lift it up, take it out clean and put it all back.
In your instance you are putting another layer (floating floor down) which will be difficult to take back out especially if you have cabinetry on top. So in that case it could be worth while doing it,but like mentioned above make sure you area has been well treated and rust preventative as possible.
Enjoy your bus wherever it takes you.
