Electrical problem

    Hi got a problem with lights in 78 bay all lights work eg brake , tail ,blinkers ,driving lights the problem is when i drake during the day the front driving lights come on very faint and at night with the driving lights on the hand brake light comes on any hints on where to start looking

    Rear tail lights :)

    Remove each assembly and clean all the spade terminals and bulbs/ holders.
    Remove screws holding any earth wires ti body in the vicinity and clean up the contact surface as well.
    Check flex of wires for breaks.

    Great thanks will do tomorrow just checked trailer lights there all good changed rear lights a while ago had hassle must of got the cheap ones

    There are spade connectors on the body inside the engine bay along side the tail lights. Take them off clean them up or replace them and make sure you clean the tabs when they go back on. More under the dash in the middle and also on the head lights. All of these can cause issues.

    Thanks all fixed it was rear brake globe . While puling apart to check broke the other side so got new bracket things that the globes go in this time got better quality ones much better .what a job to replace though got a 2nd battery on left side not much room to get nuts off and on but got there thanks again
