We scored a rocknroll bed & questioning what material to use, warm fabric or hard wearing vinyl
Both have their pros & con's
Does anyone have an opinion to share on this ?

I prefer vinyl on the bottom with fabric sides & top makes it breath better and IMO more comfortable to sleep on.

Vinyl is noisy. Not something I thought of but it seeks when you roll over.

I did mine in cloth and would do the next one in cloth as well.

Cloth is the way to go IMO having slept on different types of materials in the past.

July will be fine Kai - its January and February you will want something between you and the vinyl. An eggshell overlay is comfortable.

Just got my interior done in leatherette. Feels so much better than vinyl but is still easy to clean.
