Could anyone confirm the use of galvanized panels used in later models of T3's
I believe the T3 Single Cab & Dual Cab gates, toolbox doors & rear engine flap are gal.
Not sure about the front doors - they may have been gal too on those models.
Haven't heard of any gal parts used in the T3 Transporter or Caravelles though..
i understand the T3/T25 was galvo dipped (electroplated) all water cooled models all body types, they were done in line with the audi's and passats etc.
i gotta admit my 14 syncro has only rusted where the paint and "another covering" (poss galvo?) has chipped off.
