I've been asking this question of members for years to get a feel for how & why we name our buses.
Thought I'd make it a bit more formal.
    Thanks for voting:).
    Cheers

Hi David... I'm kinda in the 'never thought about it' category...but thinking back now about three beetles, a type three, four kombis and a kombi ute over the years - they've all been fellas. I'll leave it to you to determine how many you would call a bus. Patrick

I had a kombi that I called Herman which I sold it to a customer, wife had one called Daisy that had mushrooms etc on it, her sister had one called Violet which unfortunately was stolen and never seen again.

Kombi is transgender, a total b*tch when it plays up and a good boy when it behaves or finally finishes struggling up a long hill dragging a heavy load. It appears deep down I'm sexist eh .... but it has also been accused of questionable parentage that engages in sexual acts as well, but it has really p*ssed me off for it to descend to that level, so .......

I am surprised there are more boy then girl busses.
3 cars, all girls for us.
I like my car smelling nice and driving with a bit of class.
And to be slightly unpredictable in the rain.

I voted don't care. But all 2.5 of my transporters are girl names. That's because they were named after departed Cockers who were all bitches which is a term of endearment here (so no need for that silly asterisk). You don't want to know what the general term for a female of the canine species was in the late 1800s and published freely in newspapers for show and trial results.

Not many Trans gender kombis, maybe some aren't entirely truthful when their kombi misbehaves
