Hi folks,The heater booster fan has stopped working in my '76. Using a multi meter I've determined that there is power through the in-line fuse and to the relay. I can hear the relay clicking as I operate the heater lever, but the fan doesn't come on. I've bypassed the relay & provided 12V direct to the fan momentarily & the fan kicks in fine, so I figure it's not the fan, fuse or an earth problem. Would this be right ?

If it is as suspected, I now need to find a relay for the fan. Does anyone know if these are easy to find...? & should I go to VW or an auto electrical outlet..? or does anyone have a working spare that they want to part with...? Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Cheers, Mark

I'm pretty sure that it's just a normal generic relay.

Yep, you can rerun it with a standard 12v relay
