Help needed? / have you lost your Kombi

Hi has been parked around corner facing wrong side of road near my place Maitland area for 2 days - i did a wedding with this Kombi awhile ago . Not sure if same lady owner ?
Not that I am mech mined but if someone needs help?

 

And in a no-standing zone next to a post box. I thought either broken down or stolen since it's been there overnight.

 

Yes - both front doors locked - not that means much , rear engine hatch slightly open .

 

I thought it might be a breakdown. If they drove into the service station and couldn't start the only way out pushing it is down slope and back to where it is. But then why would you leave it there overnight?

 

Thought same - asked at servo but they are not aware.

What are the number plates on it?
Can see NSW (I think) but the style doesn’t look familiar.

 

They are NSW conditional plates although I only glanced at them.

 

That historic plate ending in D means it is modified, I've sure the club will help if they need it

 

Spoke to Glen at Flying Volkswagen he is aware and expecting it on a flat top sometime today .

I posted it on Facebook and owner came forward, nice to know it wasn’t stolen and all is good.

 

Yep i agree with you .i wouldnt leave it unattended either.
