Finally got the tent up along side the kombi today. Bugger me it takes up some space. I'm now worried that I'm not gonna be able to get the tent and the kombi on a pitch. I thin I may even struggle on an oval:eek:

Anyone know what dimensions the sites are?

Probably best to contact the park. I am sure you would have enough room though.

    Well....

    There's the kombi and tent.....

    Looks OK from here...

    Then there's a side view...

And of course I've yet to get the gazebo / kitchen erected..

    The barbecue area

The seating / drinking .conversation area

Not a bad little set up. Sleeps 9 adults on the ground floor, two adults on level one and 2 kids on level two, with the potential for a childs hammock on level One and half.

Separate living area and kitchen. Outdoor entertaining area

Hmmm.....I may just sell the house.:D

I think I may have to look at a smaller tent.

On the plus side..... the in-laws have just arrived from the UK.....so I'm moving in tonight :D

You may have to leave the komb at home!

Bloody hell, you don't need all that, though you could provide the entertainment for the day watching you set it all up

One very small BCF side awning tent is all we will be taking, I have learnt over the years how much you DON'T need.:)

    Heheheh.:D

It's OK. It's not really all going. I was just putting the tent up for the nipper to play in over the weekend, and pulled the kombi over for some music and it got me thinking.

We used that tent before we had the Kombi, and I must say it came in useful as every time we went away it did nothing but rain. It's a good set up for long bush camping holidays, (a few weeks on Straddie) but definitely not the type of thing for this kind of holiday.

One small tent and an awning is all we're taking really.
