I'm redoing Lulu's interior, making a full width bed and so on...I love that split cushion...Is that one of Jamie's full width R&R beds/seats....just wondering also, is it longer than the old Kombi R&R beds..?

    I want one....:D

Tis one of Jamie's...wouldn't know if its longer...

Now working on a finishing budget...soon mounts up !

Will have to redo the wheels/tyres as they were donated to the honey bus...anyone know where you can get the R14 whitewalls...MY ORIGINAL SUPPLIER SAYS HE CAN'T GET THEM ANYMORE.

I just spoke to Jamie and you should still be able to order them from him! A relief for me as I am ordering his R&R bed next week.

belts from the Bus Stop arrived less than 24 hours after ordering...great service.
Took a look at a couple of threads on fitting them and will have a go at the weekend.

Couple of other jobs too if I get the time after my and my sons weekend football matches.

Booked the towie to get me to the mechanics late next week...$77 aint too bad really...work should start on the brakes, shocks, etc from Monday 16th August...

Exploring compliance options at the moment. Heard that for every rear seat there needs to be an additional child seat anchor point ? Is the a new transport reg in QLD ?

Maybe order the new tyres tomorrow too...have pinned some whitewalls down and will follow up that lead if I get a chance.

Will only trim the beard if I get the chance...

    Greg,
Depends doesn't it on the original Compliance Plate as to how many seats you can put in so either 2 or 5 or 8 (maybe 9) and with a car of that vintage if it was 5 - front 2 and rear 3 seats then 5 seat belts and do not believe you need anchor points and if 8 seat then middle 3 seat added (you can't have anchor points on these) believe though it would have been 2 or 8 as standard so as long as you have a seat belt for each seat then you should be ok (if the inspector has half a brain).

Have been doing a couple of minor jobs here and there...discovered a couple of minor areas I would like to improve upon/tidy up inside...

so the duck bus leaves us for a few days for overhaul of brakes, shocks, steering, etc.

Hopefully it will all be straight forward, good quality and no surprises !

    Look'in sensational Greg.

Post up what you decide to do with your curtains as I have a similar issue to deal with in my 71 more to keep the sun off the kids than for camping.

    Cheers,
