In a tizzy with my Dizzy !

    We are in the middle of removing the dizzie on our 2 litre engine are there any little tricks getting the sucker out! most dizzies once you line a few things up just slide out but this one is being a little stubborn:mad: I dont want to force it coz we are more than 120kms from home:)

    yep these can be stubborn. think the seal/o-ring gets a bit stuck

    glad you got it sorted

    why are you needing to remove it?

    The vacuum advance wasnt working so my partner wanted to check it all out, seems the turntable that the points live on was rusted together. He had a hard time with the dizzy because the tinware was sitting on the retainer but its all good now !
