I’ve been asked to pass on John’s very best wishes to his friends here, on KC.
JD is very well, full of life and enjoying his new existence as a Mariner.....floating around on the ocean blue.
Don’t be surprised if, no....,when he checks back in to KC in the near future.
John has many tales to relay about his newfound existence and is looking forward to sharing them with his mates here.......
I’m really stoked to be able to pass on this good news to those that have connected with this wonderful fella.
    Cheers,
    Mark

Yes Wayne, John had a near fatal battle with cancer that almost took him......
A once high profile legal professional, John has been reborn as an ocean going adventurer....
He’s a wonderful, generous person that people connect with instantly.
John has had a break from KC whilst undergoing extensive medical treatment but asked that I let people know that he is full of life and looking forward to KC again.
    Cheers,
    Mark

I’ve told John that folks are genuinely concerned about him..and he is humbled by everyone’s concern.
Thanks Kazz.....I’m sure he’s feeling the vibes ;)

    Thanks Mark - that’s excellent news! :)

Could almost be in the “What made you happy today” thread........ coz it’s made me happy. ;)

Pass on my regards, and tell him to sail into Old Bar on the October long weekend.....

JD is a great cheeky bloke who am glad to have met the bloke a few times since first meeting in 2010 at the bus stop. Always willing to help any one he can. Will be looking forward to his first post when he comes back in. I better get an up to date dictionary for the occasion.

Crazy at it may sound Kazz, John was moored up at Church Point when COVID hit.....
I didn’t get to see him.....and he purposely called in to Pittwater to catch up.
His, and rightly so, concern was that if he caught C19 he was basically stuffed, with his medical history.
So, we talked on the phone a few times and he headed North.
He’s up on the hard stand at Coomera now.
    Crazy times........
    Cheers,

Great to hear that JD is alive and well. Only met him in person once over a pub lunch at Bus Stop, very likeable genuine guy. Love his sense of humor and genuine concern for people and their situation. Hope to meet him again one day.

Safely tucked away, on blocks, in SA in his new residence.
Hercules has been re-christened, “ Snail”.......more in keeping with John’s new philosophy of looking out the window and appreciating what is around us all the time ;)

Hercules often got pushed pretty hard to fulfill JD's demands. Nice to slow down and smell the flowers! Nice not to have rebuild every Bus Stop.
