I Think I Want One,great Job Paul :d
Well done Paul- you have been busy!
That kitchen is the nuts. The rest of it is the rest of the duck.
I share the the 15yo analysis. 'Mad!'
Looking awesome! Will it be ready by xmas ya think?
Rather than update multiple sites with new photos, I'll just re-direct you to my blog:
Still might make it by Christmas!
Looking great!!! Good luck with the deadline.
I a race to get the kombi kamper trailer on the road by Christmas I've been goin flat out. Changes in Dept of Transports recently haven't helped matters. The tent has been picked up and attached. The trailer has been painted, and I'm just finishing off the wiring.
I have to get it weighed at a weighbridge first, and then inspected. With some luck I should hopefully have it all sorted by Wednesday. It won't be finished, but it will be usable.
Pics and updates to follow. More details on the blog soon.
The kombi kamper trailer is now registered!
Its maiden run will be on Christmas day when we go to my parents place. I've got a few things to finish off between now and the new year when we will venture further afield.
Good man!!! Congratulations to you!!!
What a xmas present to give yourself and what a big effort!!
Are you camping at your parents or just taking it for bragging rights?? lol
BIG THUMBS UP!!!
Top job looks great
Well done Paul!
Major effort with an awesome result!
Can I ask what it totaled at the weighbridge, just out of curiosity?
Congrats Paul - you must be feeling very pleased with yourself.
640kg Grant. That's with 140kg of tent attached, so 500kg for the actual trailer.
I dips me lid to you, Paul.
That trailer is just brilliant.
The Kombi Kamper Trailer has had its first outing. Not far. Just to the parents place over Christmas. It did give us the chance to test it out, and put up the tent for the first time. All good in the end.

Would look really sweet being towed by a Kombi, rather than a "Toymota"
Can't agree with you more Grant.
The story has now been published. Issue 42 of CamperTrailer Australia features a 5 page spread about the KKT (page 88).
