Kombi Toys

    On closer inspection, it appears to be a micro bus, that was having a conversion to a camper.

    The original parts:

    Like many conversion projects, it never quite got finished.........

    Also included with my gifted model, was a Maisto 1:40 scale Samba.

    I think it was once a “pullback” one, but again, being a Kombi, the pullback function no longer works.

    If the Tow truck was blue and white with a VW sign it could have been Mid North Coast Motors tow truck back in the 1960's but it would also need a crappy winch with a ratchet from hell. I towed dozens of kombis off O'Sullivan's Gap in the latter part of the 60's- early 1970's, the people in the kombi tried to cram into the bench seat for the trip to Taree.

    Just bought one of these T1 camper lego Kombis! Cant wait to build it in the back of the T3 on a camping trip. Be quick there is only 5 left when I bought mine.
